Metal roof painting for warehouse building
Golf course management had a problem with one of its warehouses, which had a metal roof that was damaged and needed to be painted. Our team had to address the damages before primer or paint could be applied, so the metal was completely cleaned and power washed. Discovering that the roof was completely rusted, the Painters Inc. team applied a power grinding application to rid the metal of rust.
Once the metal was repaired and the surface was level, we applied a special epoxy made by Sherwin-Williams called Macropoxy 646. This was the final step in the prep work to get the surface ready for paint. Once the epoxy had dried, we applied a top coat of Sherwin-Williams Acrolon 218, which is a two-component, fast-drying, polyester-modified, aliphatic and acrylic polyurethane, making it a perfect coating for metal surfaces.
