Stairwells and wooden trim elements painting for apartment building
With a two-week window to finish this interior stairwell project, Painters Inc. was tasked with extensive prep work prior coating surfaces with paint, as the walls were in poor condition. Adding to the complexity of the project were the different types of surfaces, which included gypsum walls and ceilings, wooden baseboards and chair rails, as well as different types of structures, including doors, window casings, railings and stringers.
With five total stairwells to prep and paint, Painters Inc. was able to make the deadline with excellent results, also delivering on the client’s preference for a “quality” finish. A variety of paint types were used to complete the project, including a brand name – Benjamin Moore – which is trusted far and wide. The paint included Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec 500 Zero VOC to keep fumes in the residential area to a minimum, and Benjamin Moore Regal Select Semi-Gloss.
Condominium association painting contractors in Chicago
Condo association painting projects are one of the more common types for Painters Inc., including working with project managers at residential facilities, including condominiums. These types of projects often require a great degree of detail and the expectations are high, as residents are living in the workspace when our team does the painting.
Stairwells, often high-traffic areas, require the right type of paint finish – one that can hold up to frequent cleaning, which is why we chose a semi-gloss for the areas that get the most contact with residents walking up and down the stairs. When bringing a high level of expertise to every project.
