Repainting metal balcony railings and fences
Our team focused on proper surface preparation to ensure long-term performance on all metal surfaces, including balcony railings and fences. This involved thoroughly cleaning the metal and removing all grease and contaminants that could compromise the paint’s ability to adhere.
Following the prep work, we applied a base coat of Sherwin-Williams Macropoxy 646, which is formulated for metal and known for its corrosion resistance. With this foundation on the metal, we applied a top coat of Sherwin-Williams Acrolon 218, which is a high-performance urethane with UV-resistance properties. This paint is built to retain its color while also providing a professional finish.
Our team was able to complete the prep work and painting of this three-story building within the required one-week timeframe.
