Balconies painting for HOA building
This HOA property management company hired Painters Inc. to remove existing coatings on balconies and repaint them in this first phase, which lasted four weeks. The project is expected to stretch out over three years. We used a vapor blasting technique to remove the existing coating, a process that is safe, fast and efficient. This project consists of a building five stories high with a total of 80 balconies. Each balcony has floors, railings and ceilings that need to be painted. For the floors, we use Masterseal epoxy 220 and 225, as it holds up to punishing foot traffic. Sherwin Williams Urethane Alkyd is the perfect match for metal surfaces, and we used Sherwin Williams Duration for the exterior wood surfaces.
It is not uncommon for Painters Inc. to sign on to projects that are parceled out over time, and it’s something we’re happy to do for our customers. The first phase of the project involved painting eight balconies, and with the customer happy with the results, Painters Inc. was asked to return and has thus far painted 32 balconies.
