Painting warehouse walls, ceilings and pipes
This warehouse project was unique, as the building was severely neglected and required extensive preparation prior to applying paint. We performed air blasting on the ceilings and walls to remove old paint and grime. Some surfaces required significant power grinding, and sandblasting was used in other areas.
On the ceilings, we applied Sherwin-Williams ProBlock primer, Kem Bond primer, and Alkyd Dryfall. For the walls, we chose Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Multi-Surface. For the intricate pipework, we applied Sherwin-Williams Industrial paint.
One of the challenges in meeting the three-week deadline was that our team could only work the “second shift,” as we had to wait until the first shift had completed their duties in the warehouse before we could begin our tasks.
